Purple Orange AI / Chicago services
Voice agent pilots for Chicago businesses.
When your team cannot answer, a useful voice agent should capture the request and help the right person respond. Start by testing one inbound call workflow against your actual business rules.
Start with the calls you are missing
We assess a narrow pilot for missed-call or after-hours intake, answers from an approved business FAQ, and appointment requests. A local service business with a clear service area and a person responsible for follow-up is a sensible starting point. We establish fit from call volume and the existing process, not from a promise to replace your front desk.
What we need to scope the pilot
Bring your current phone setup, typical inquiry types, opening hours, service area, and the calendar or CRM your team uses. We identify what the agent may say, what it may do, and when it must hand off. The assessment determines which integrations are available and whether a limited pilot is worth building.
A request is not a confirmed appointment
The agent should only confirm an appointment after the connected system verifies it. If an integration is unavailable, it should explain that the request is pending and route it to your team. A caller who wants a person needs a tested transfer or callback route. Your existing line or voicemail remains the fallback.
Test before routing customer calls
The proposed acceptance checks cover noisy calls, interruptions, corrected details, unavailable appointments, duplicate requests, tool failures, and a caller asking for a person. The caller should know they are speaking with AI. Recording, retention, and access settings must be agreed before any live pilot. A demo alone does not establish readiness.
Measure useful outcomes
Record the current missed-call baseline. During the pilot, track eligible calls, valid inquiries, verified bookings, handoff failures, cancellations, operating cost, and staff follow-up time. Compare completed business outcomes with the baseline. More conversations alone do not establish return on investment.
Scope and price follow the assessment
Voice is a separately scoped pilot, not included in the $2,500 Reviewable Agent install. Phone numbers, call volume, provider charges, integrations, support hours, and acceptance criteria need an agreed quote. This page invites a scoping conversation; it does not advertise an already deployed phone agent or guaranteed around-the-clock coverage.
Explore the workflow behind the call
Bring one call-handling problem
Discuss the calls your team struggles to handle and the next action a caller actually needs. Max will assess the workflow and the evidence needed for a pilot.
